Something About Fighting & Ice

Can you see anything in the above picture? Not really? That's okay. I could hardly see it either; nosebleed drawback. Let me describe it for you. With 2 minutes left in the third period, things were looking plenty bleak for the Augusta Hawks, so they started a fight at the goal. Hawks player straight on punched an Ice Bear in the face. It was awesome! (Note: I don't condone violence, but this is hockey!)

While the refs (Who suck-- sorry habit. Don't really mean it. Maybe.) sorted out that melee, another fracas broke out at half court. When the game finally resumed, 3 more players were ejected and with 5-on-4 play the Ice Bears scored again.

Final score Augusta 1, Ice Bears 6. And 5 of those were unanswered 3rd period scores. I've never watched a game with more fighting.

It was a terrific showing but not outdone by the weiner dog races (which packed the house more than the game I think). They were hilarious. (No dogs were harmed during these races; just some of the owners'prides.)

Don't ask me about the food. I feel like I was run over by the wagon.
